Cute animal prints on plastic to wrap your washi on. However when I went to buy some they were all sold out. So I searched for other shops with them. But they were all sold out too. In the end I could find no cute washi holders to amuse my self with. It took me a few weeks for my brain to catch up. How hard could they be to make? So here is how you make your own animal washi holders.
To make this easy I cut mine down to 2" x 5"strips. Technically the clear labels are 2 5/8" so you can go with that size if you like but you will have some space at the sides of the images on my labels. For me the 2" size makes it easier to know how much washi I have wrapped. I used a portable paper trimmer from staples. I admit its useful but I dont like it. The design makes it hard to get straight cuts.
You can easily print the owl labels I made through Averys website. be sure you print to full size and not to fit page. If you are handy at drawing you can also just draw out your own onto the plastic itself with a permanent marker. This is how I did mine. Then scanned them into my computer.
Once you print your labels its just placing your stickers on to the plastic strips and trimming any excess. I also used the rounded edge punch on the paper trimmer to make nice edges. You can also punch the ends for clipping in your planner.
Last weeks post was hard. I sat at my desk snarling at anyone who came near me. There were some tears shed and I needed a big break when I was don. Still, as much as I want to forget something so hurtful to me I felt it needed to be said. I wanted to write it! For me there has always been something healing about writing. I am also better in type than I am in person. I tend to write out my half of a conversation when hubby and I fight. Its easier to be sure im clear with my point. I know there is a lot lost in text that cant be made up for. For me though it is a center point of my communication skills.
This week I have been busy cleaning my in-laws space by the nook and cranny. Building an end cap on the wall in our space and planning out quick evening meals because we are babysitting our friends chinchillas in the evenings.
So this week we are changeing up the pace. Are you ready for some cute chinchilla pics?
Where the new mother was writing upset her friends had been pulling away after her son was born. Stating one friend told her "she had changed" and "Its hard to see it". I read down the responses a bit and didn't see what I was looking for. Did anyone think to see if this offensive friend can have kids? The comment she makes of "its hard to see it".
Trimming some extra cash off your budget can be hard and confusing. Here are a few ways we use save money.
Welcome to Day 3 of
Ave you ever heard the Phrase Sleep on it?
Some of the best money advice I can give you.
s fate would have it
The same day I decided to write this series of posts on how to save a little cash for what you really want in life, My husband brought me a package from the mail. It was an unexpected package. My name written on the front of a puffy yellow envelope in big black marker. I was perplexed and more than a little curious. The only clue was a sticker from one of the companies I order from in a small corner.
Well my curiosity didn't last long.
I found this word today and didn't know what it meant so I looked it up. "extreme unwillingness to spend money or use resources."
This is me at times. ok, maybe not to the extreme that the definition suggests. My husband once explained my budgeting and finance rituals to my therapist. She found another word for it. "Anal". We all agreed that if it didn't cause any problems then my anal approach to our finances was completely ok. It is something that gives me a since of security.
eeing as since I have given this page so little love in the last three months of winding down my business season I am double posting today. I have some slightly late freebies and late or not I want to share them. You forgive me right?
