Trimming some extra cash off your budget can be hard and confusing. Here are a few ways we use save money.
Welcome to Day 3 of
Its late Sunday. I have been to Lowe's for more house repair supplies and to get Groceries. To tell the truth I am tired. So I hope you will forgive me for making this short, simple and sweet.
Here are a few services we use to keep our budget tidy and make things easy on us at the same time.
Phone Service
When my Husband came home suggesting we change phone services I felt nervous. I was taking calls and credit cards for my business with my phone and didn't want any chance of problems with a company I had never heard of. However Ting, a re-seller of sprint and now T-mobile had an offer that was too good to refuse. At $6 per phone a month and no contracts I was curious. Add on they only charge you for what you actually use and I was skeptical. I had been arguing for a smaller plan from our phone provider for years. We were paying for tons of usage we never used. Two years later and I am very happy with all the money we have saved. Our previous provider charged us $150 a month for two phones. We now pay $48-$50 a month. You have to buy your phone outright and that may seem steep. However in the long run you pay less on your phone. Sounds good but your still under contract? Ting will give you up to $75 for each line you switch under contract. Check out there site and do the savings calculator! TING |

T.V. and Entertainment
Again my husband started getting excited about a movie streaming service that some of our friends were using. But I knew it would be expensive. I put my foot down. NO, we could not get Netflix. Our budget just couldn't take it. By now you should have heard the name Netflix at some point. If you haven't you may be a hermit. Turns out I was wrong. We ended up wit Netflix for $7.99 a month. Its cheap entertainment and way better priced than satellite services at round $30 a month. netflix.com |
