Cute animal prints on plastic to wrap your washi on. However when I went to buy some they were all sold out. So I searched for other shops with them. But they were all sold out too. In the end I could find no cute washi holders to amuse my self with. It took me a few weeks for my brain to catch up. How hard could they be to make? So here is how you make your own animal washi holders.
What you need:
Free owl Labels |
To make this easy I cut mine down to 2" x 5"strips. Technically the clear labels are 2 5/8" so you can go with that size if you like but you will have some space at the sides of the images on my labels. For me the 2" size makes it easier to know how much washi I have wrapped. I used a portable paper trimmer from staples. I admit its useful but I dont like it. The design makes it hard to get straight cuts.
You can easily print the owl labels I made through Averys website. be sure you print to full size and not to fit page. If you are handy at drawing you can also just draw out your own onto the plastic itself with a permanent marker. This is how I did mine. Then scanned them into my computer.
Once you print your labels its just placing your stickers on to the plastic strips and trimming any excess. I also used the rounded edge punch on the paper trimmer to make nice edges. You can also punch the ends for clipping in your planner.
That's it!!
All don!
Enjoy your Washi Buddies and get some washi on those babies!!!!
what about pigs, pandas, fawn, and cats you say? If you would like the full range of buddies in one PDF they can be purchased for a donation. this gets you a PDF that lets you make as many washi buddies as you like. makes some for yourself, your friends, for swaps, or a surprise for your planner group!!! The possibilities are endless. Just no giving away or reselling any of my designs. or selling products made with them. These are the property of Live Love Goddess and its creator.
