1. Who do you want to be?
(describe the person you daydream of becoming)
2. What do you want to do more of?
(personal time, reading, cooking, Security etc. )
3. What do you want to add to your life?
4. What do you want to improve?
(relationships, habits, health, etc. )
5. What would you like to simplify?
(what tasks would you like to make easier? )
6. What do you want to do less?
7. What do you want to eliminate from your life?
Do you notice any patterns? Once you finish your list. Look it over. You may find you have duplicate answers. This is a key, telling you this is important to you. I put "time to read" for questions 2 and 3 it would seem I should really make time to read. Obviously this is something I really want. I should pay attention. I need to look at what the answers I used make me feel too. I see answers like reading, love, security, painting. All four of these answers make me feel comfortable. they are all warm fuzzy feelings. This says I am looking for comfort at this point in my life. Go ahead and try to put a feeling to each answer you wrote.
Reading= comfort
painting= relaxation=comfort/creativity
Security= safety= comfort
Journaling= self expression= confidence
As I go on I can see some real patterns. I want comfort, confidence and security. When I think about this it feels true. my life has been so up down and back to back that at this stage I need some comfort and security. I have lost much of the confidence I once had. I also want some fun, creativity and all around enjoyment to be part of this comfort.
Have fun answering your questions and finding any feeling patterns. Chances are this will work in circles until you are centered on how you feel about your current life and the one you want to make. Now that I know I want comfort I can re-look at the questions. What could I add or have more of that would make me feel comfort? Keep your list. We will work more off this as we go.
